    Rooted in Humboldt

    A proud resident of Humboldt since 1996, Shane Lynch has spent nearly three decades investing his time and energy into the community he calls home. His commitment to service and leadership has shaped both his personal journey and the organizations he has supported along the way.

    Community Leadership

    • Humboldt Chamber of Commerce – Longtime member and past president
    • Strawberry Festival – Past president, helping carry forward one of the community’s most beloved traditions
    • Mason – Dedicated to fellowship, service, and integrity
    • Sugar Creek Church – Active member, guided by faith and family values

    Leadership Development

    From an early age, Shane has sought opportunities to grow as a leader and give back:

    • Began his leadership journey as a high school page for Congressman Tanner in Washington, D.C.
    • Graduate of both the WestStar Leadership Program and the Gibson County Leadership Program
    • Completed extensive leadership training through years of Scouting involvement
    • Currently serves on the Board of Directors for the West Tennessee Area Council of Boy Scouts of America
    • Completed "Newely Elected Officials" Training thuough MTAS

    Whether through civic organizations, professional leadership programs, or youth development, Shane has consistently dedicated himself to building stronger communities and empowering others. His work reflects a genuine belief in service, mentorship, and the importance of leaving a lasting, positive impact.
