From an early age, Shane has sought opportunities to grow as a leader and give back:

Began his leadership journey as a high school page for Congressman Tanner in Washington, D.C.
Graduate of both the WestStar Leadership Program and the Gibson County Leadership Program
Completed extensive leadership training through years of Scouting involvement
Currently serves on the Board of Directors for the West Tennessee Area Council of Boy Scouts of America
Completed "Newely Elected Officials" Training thuough MTAS
